  • Who you are

    The following are qualities we look for in a Mentor:

    • Minimum 5 years of real estate experience, with an average annual transaction count of at least 15 transactions per year.

    • Maintains an active MN salesperson or broker license.

    • Completes all required CE on time.

    • Has high Emotional Intelligence.

    • Asks for help and support when needed.

    • Communicates honestly and openly with both MN RE Mentors and Mentees.

    • Strives to put the Mentee’s needs ahead of their own 100% of the time.

    • Is accountable to MN RE Mentors and to the Mentee relationship.

    • Has held other leadership positions, either inside a brokerage or in personal experiences.

    • Teaching or training experience is preferred.

    • High ethical standards.

    • Recognizes success as helping others succeed.

    • Tech Savvy.

    • Willingness to become familiar with the lessons provided in the curriculum.

    • Is open to feedback.
